I am the young girl on the left with glasses.
I have just turned sixteen and I am
visiting Canada for the first time.
I could sew and I made my pants.
I really liked them. They were cool
and seersucker.

O-cute. :D
Gosh, you were so cute!
You were adorable! Quite a handy seamstress at a young age, too!
I thought the picture was taken in Geneva ! there is a very similar clock like that and your trousers made me laugh because I still have them, they look the same !
I never did learn to sew. Just don't have the patience. Don't you love sharing pictures of a younger you? Happy WW.
Hi,
thanks for commenting on my blog - which led me to yours. What a lovely picture of a proud, young girl! And your trousers - wow. Seamstress at the age of 16 - not bad!
Have a good day,
/Katarina
That clock looks familiar. Is it in Niagra Falls? I think I have a picture of myself in front of a clock similar to that!
Thanks for alerting me to the typo, its fixed now.
...Oh Junebug you're too cute! ;o) Love the pants - you possessed some mad sewing skills at such a young age too...
...What inquiring minds want to know is why you haven't aged since 12? What's your secret? Must tell...please? ;o)
...Blessings... :o)
This is Toronto, Ontario. We had visited Niagra Falls from the Canadian (the best) side.
As soon as I saw the photo I knew it was near the Butterfly Conservatory not far from Niagara. I took photos of the clock when I visited there last year.
Oh those trousers make me laugh. The high waist and wide legs were just what I used to wear. Of course I thought they were the coolest in the world. I too sewed in Jr. High and High School and made lots of clothes. Fun memory!
You are so tiny....you certainly don't look like you are 16.
I admire that, people who can make their own clothes!
You look prettier now, I think!
I would totally wear those pants now.
That's a great picture! A treasure, indeed...
Please come visit me and check my WW post for this week: First steps.
Happy WW!
I think I slacks similar to those. Great photo to have.
