I've wanted to see that place since reading about it. Someday I'll take a day trip out there to do that. I doubt if I can talk anyone in my family into going with me. They'll think there is nothing much to see, but it's those remnants that I find most fascinating, maybe even more than places like the Marland Mansion that are still intact.
My husband's grandfather was the foreman over the swine back in the 1920's. He and his brother were there when it all went bankrupt. Also there during the heyday when Bill Pickett and all were there.
