Fun Monday

This weeks host is Hootin' Anni

The Fun Monday Game I'm hosting for y'all is this:
30 GIANT STEPS - IN ANY direction. You may have to make a few turns and pivots so you won't run into any walls or such...don't want any injuries today! WARNING: Avoid any obstacles in the way. After the 30 giant steps, Stop! TAKE A PHOTO AND/OR NOTE WHAT YOU'RE SEEING!! Then, take 15 baby steps back. After the 15 baby steps, Stop! TAKE A PHOTO AND/OR NOTE WHAT YOU'RE SEEING.
What you see is what we get!!

Moi: Mother, May I take 30 giant steps forward?
Hootin' Anni: Yes, dear, you may.

This is my living room. And people talk about clutter? I am the queen of clutter.
Note: magazines on floor? extra pillows?

Now:
Moi: Mother, May I take 15 baby steps backward?
Hootin' Anni: Yes, yes, yes, dear, you may.

This is my dining room. I have not decorated for Thanksgiving yet. I will be
working on cleaning up my rooms and decorating this week. I can't replace
my tablecloth until the day of Thanksgiving if I want it to be clean. We have
a cat "Kissa" who climbs and lounges on tables. Cat hairs and turkey? Not a
good thing as Martha would say.

Next week's host is the girl who loves green: Karisma
Go on over and sign up. And don't forget to visit other Fun Monday players @ Hootin' Anni

Happy Fun Monday...

BTW, beautiful home, and great to see what 30 giant steps and 15 baby steps will take you from your computer.

I could just curl up among the cushions and watch that nice looking TV!

Chrisb: That is a favorite place for everyone to lay and watch tv.

Very cozy...and I LOVE your dining room floor! Can I steal the pattern when I redo mine? Thanks for sharing.

Sandy: I really love my tile there. That cobalt blue is the best. Yes, do you really like it enough to use the pattern? The tile men thought of it. I was very pleased.

What a beautiful home! I, too, love that kitchen tile!

We have the same tv you do. I agree. Cat hair does not compliment turkey!

Hey, at least your clutter is neat and orderly. It's a good thing I didn't understand the directions for this post or everyone would have seen my desk which is currently very cluttered and very disorganized.

I really like the tile in your dining room. Very pretty.

Love your dining room floor.

And my neighbor had 3 miniature dachshunds and always said dog hair was a condiment at their house. I didn't eat there very often.

Your home looks very cozy. I love that Tiffany-style lamp there. Gorgeous!

Gosh! What a beautiful home!

I like your red chair! I've had green, blue, the next obviously should be red.

And my cats love to lay on my dining room table, too. I used to worry about them scratching it then figured they did more damage when I tried to run them off.

I should put a cat bed there and I'm sure they'd never get on it again!

Love your Saltillo tile! And that looks like less clutter than you would see around my chair.

Your home looks cozy and inviting! I see no clutter. I grew up in clutter and I have to have clutter around to feel comfortable my hubby hates it!
I love the photo of your Dad on the sidebar.

Bren: Thank you dear Bren

jo beau: Sometimes I sit in the living room and look over at my dining room just taking in the view. I must say I really love it. I get so attached to stuff!

Laurie: You have not seen my spare bedroom! All papers piled up on the kitchen counter go in there when I have company.

AFF: I always have to change the tablecloth before we eat. You know what though? We only eat there when there is company.

Jenni: yes, I have piles of neat and orderly papers! Just more places than I'd want to share. :D

Janet: Just peer into my bedroom. I have been cleaning out my clothes drawers and closet recently.

Robinella: I do change the tablecloth for company. My cat has very thick short hair. She doesn't shed much.

Karmyn and Kitten: Thank you.

Blue Momma: Red and green. Christmas colors. I am decorated year round for Christmas in my living room.

Lisa: I feel like my biggest clutter is all the nicknacks and things on shelves. But I can't part or put away any of it.

Sandy Flip-Flop: I will visit again.

Sirdar: Well, I must at least be the princess?

kaytabug: I inherited clutter from my mother. I like looking at my dad. It's a great spot for him.
