Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now (Live, 1970)

Something I used to listen to and play on the piano.

...Gosh Terri, that is beautiful! I actually had tears streaming down my face by the time it ended. I just love that song... Thank you for sharing!

...And you know how to play the piano? Have you known how to since childhood? I so admire you for that. We have a 100 year old player piano and it's fun to sit down with it and pedal and play but often times I sit in front of it and wish it was truly me making the beautiful music... Needless to say, learning to play the piano is on my "Things To Do Before I Die" list... ;o)

...Again, thank you! I'll now be humming that tune for the rest of the evening... :o)

...Blessings to you...

Gosh, you're welcome. I've always loved that song. I learned to play the piano when I took piano lessons in the fourth grade and for a few years after. My mom wanted me to be able to play the piano in church and I do. Every Sunday. My husband plays the guitar in church also. We're on the music team. I learned by reading music, not by ear, my husband plays by ear (guitar). I do know my chords and can play just with chords.
