Fun Monday-Music

This week's Fun Monday is hosted by Swampy. She wants us to make a list from A-Z of something. ABC's. I made mine of music. Now I realize that absolutely no one would have the time to listen to all of these songs. So look at my list and if you see just one that you like, then listen to it. I had fun making it. It was hard to narrow down some of the bands. I had multiples for some letters. Enjoy, please. And visit Swampy for more Fun Monday.

Augustana-Boston

Boston-More Than a Feeling

Coldplay-Clocks ( I could have picked every song they have ever sung!)

Derek and the Dominoes-Bell Bottom Blues

Eagles-Hole in the World (live in Australia)

Fleetwood Mac-Dreams (Man, weren't they great?)

If you only have time to listen to one song, this is the one!
Genesis-No Son of Mine

Henley, Don-The Heart of the Matter (best song ever written)

Imogen Heap-Let Go

Journey- Faithfully

Kansas-Dust in the Wind

Led Zeppelin-Going to California (used to be my favorite song)

Mayer, John-Waiting on the World to Change

Nickleback-If Everyone Cared

Oasis-Little By Little

Pink Floyd-Wish You Were Here

Queen-Bohemian Rhapsody

Relient K-Be My Escape

Steely Dan-Reelin' in the Years

Taylor, James-Fire and Rain

U2-Beautiful Day

The Verve-Bitter Sweet Symphony

OMGees! I just love how you did your Fun Monday! That is way cool!
Pink Floyd, Wish you were here is one of my favorite songs!
It reminds of my oldest brother that died when he was 27 and I was 18.

Well done but who has that much time?
Thanks for your support.

Great list, but luckily I don't have to spend too much time on it as there are only about 3 or 4 that I haven't either seen live or have the CD.

I admire the work of all that ! and putting them in alphabetical order. I only know maybe 5 of them ! The most famous once like Phil Collins !

That was an IMPRESSIVE ABC! We must be of a similar vintage - I know most of these. Those newer ones though... I've heard the John Mayer but I don't know much about Nickelback. Must pull head out of sand more often...

This is INCREDIBLE. You have spent hours creating this and I have marked this post on my favorites to come back to and listen to. So many of these songs I don't know and I'm excited to add them to my "unknown genre" of music.
Thanks for taking this Fun Monday so seriously and adding to our listening pleasure.
Have a great week.

Whoa...you put some SERIOUS effort into your list! WOW!! And we have very similar tastes...I love Imogen Heap. And you can't go wrong with Genesis, Don Henley, John Mayer and the ZEP!

I wish I would have come by earlier, I would have spent the day listening to these while I worked...I'll do that tomorrow! ;-)

This is a great list, I love A LOT of those songs. If Everyone Cared is my favorite Nickelback song.

You have provided sweet memories with some of my favorites, Dust in the Wind by Kansas, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, and Fleetwood Mac singing Dreams. Furthermore, I enjoyed some newer tunes listening to Coldplay and Imogen Heap. You have created a wonderful alphabetical delight.

Great FM post.I'm not surprised it took you that long to upload all these. You have some of my favourites there~particularly Coldplay,Eagles, Fleetwoodmac, Genesis(a young Phil Collins!) and Queen (I very nearly put this one into my post but felt I had written enough).

I am so annoyed with YouTube--I have no sound for the past couple of weeks. I need the Geek Squad, but you need high praise for putting this together!

Brill list. I love Coldplay's Clocks, it's just the goldfish that have an aversion to some of their songs. And you have very eclectic taste which is great.
And I'm so impressed with tte little youtube boxes. How did you do it? They're so cute.

Junebug said...

Jo beau: to make the youtube boxes smaller, you edit them in html. After you imbed them into your post, you change the size of the pics by reducing the number. I just made the 425 into a 225 and the 355 into a 155. You have to do it to both places that it appears in html. It changes the size to smaller. Not hard or I probably couldn't have done it. :D

Thanks so much Junebug. I'll have a go. I'm so excited now. :D
