Take a Little Trip with Me

Still a beautiful and fun place to visit.

I used to sit on these lions
when I was little.
It was the most beautiful and sunny day we have had
in weeks.  So we took a little trip to Woolaroc.  It's very
near our home and such a wonderful place with
lots of animals to see.

WOOdsLAkesROCks.WOOLAROC !

I love that place. Maybe we should meet there next time. Actually, I'm in B'ville right now, but just briefly for a birthday party.

One of my favorites at Woolaroc is the shrunken heads.

Hee hee, the shrunken heads are my favorite, too. Woolaroc is such a great place for a day trip. There's so much to see that you really need to plan on spending the entire day there. It's a great bargain, too. Did you hike the nature trail? It's a lovely little trail. We planned a Brownie family camping trip there when Jo was in 2nd grade. (Holy cow! That was 10 years ago!) Only three families showed, but we had a great time. The girls (and and their brothers) completed the activities to earn the Girl Scout and Boy Scout patches. I did too. It's sewn on my brag vest:o) We really need to go back sometime soon. Osage Hills State Park nearby is a great place to stay, too.

What an interesting looking place!

I'm going to put it on my list for whenever we get to Oklahoma.

Aims,
If you get as close as Woolaroc then you must let me meet you there or somewhere. Cause Woolaroc is really close to me. Like 30 minutes.
