Ornament from Austria

My daughter brought this ornament home to me on
Christmas 2004.  She had been in Croatia for 5 months
working as a nanny for some Wesleyan missionaries.
She got to visit Austria during Christmas and go to their
Christmas market (Christkindlmarkt) in Vienna.

What a special ornament!

I would love to go to Christkindlmarkt someday. There is a good one in Chicago each year--that's probably the closest I can get to the real thing. Maybe next year I'll be able to go to it. Wanna join me? ;)

That is so cool. I think it is so neat that your daughter feels that kind of ministry on her life. What an experience!

Kila: Yes, I would love to go. My youngest daughter is going to Italy next spring to study art/photography.

Kitten: Yes, she has a missionary's heart. She would love to go to Africa.

I love Vienna. And, that ornament is very Austrian. The leiderhosen and all!
