Luckily for us the power outage was only 24 hours.
They had an estimate of 10 days to 3 weeks. Oh my God,
that would have been horrible. I don't know yet what
has made the difference, I just hope and pray it stays on!
Most of the state had been without power. We were
fortunate to have a couple of gas heaters in the living
room and one bedroom or we would have been very cold.
We also have a gas stovetop so I could cook by candle
light which I did.
Here are the iced trees. Not quite as good as iced teas.
I also wanted to show you my new Hunter boots that came

I also wanted to show you my new Hunter boots that came
from Nordstrom's just in time for the wintery weather.
My feet remained dry and warm as I stepped outside

Oooh, am loving those boots on you! Fabulous choice! And it looks SO PRETTY where you are right now! We have all the cold, but so far no sign of snow just yet.
It's about 34 degrees or it was before it got dark today. I hope it warms up soon so I can go shop for Christmas presents.
I'm glad your power is back on. Love those boots and photos of the icys.
